Rachel Watson is an author, writer and muser on coercive control, domestic abuse and the family courts. She spent fifteen years representing herself in the Court of Session. She provides resources for victims of abuse and signposts them to information that will help them understand what is happening to them, cope with the behaviour they get subjected to, heal post-separation and achieve a fair and safe outcome in the family courts. Rachel also raises awareness on the harm the non-scientific theory of parental alienation does in family court cases and the long term harm the family court system does to the vulnerable. Rachel lives on the edge of a Scottish loch with her husband and three sons. She offers positive solutions and, is and always will be, a glass half full thinker!
